THE BEST VIDEO PRODUCERS IN KANSAS CITYstrong>

PRODUCERS.

Our professional video producers can give you total peace of mind throughout your video production process.

In the world of making videos, think of a Producer as the project manager. The producer oversees literally everything from start to finish, and ensures that the project is completed successfully and achieves its goals.

PRE-PRODUCTION

From the very start of your video, a producer meets with you to understand your brief and what you want to achieve with your video. They then work with you through the stages of concept development, scriptwriting, storyboarding, CAD pre-checks and other pre-production activities such as location scouting, obtaining location filming permissions, and production management. While a Producer may not necessarily personally carry out all these activities, they may manage a team of specialists who do. Professional producers will have a wealth of knowledge about every stage of the video making process, and will also have contacts within the video industry, so they’ll know the perfect person to handle each job.

    PRODUCTION

A producer is your main point of contact throughout every stage of your video production process. In the production phase, that is the day(s) that your video is being shot, the producer is your go-to person on the day and carries the overall responsibility for ensuring that the day runs to plan. If something doesn’t go according to plan, or there are unavoidable disruptions to the filming schedule, the producer is the person who sorts out any issues quickly and makes alternative arrangements to get things back on track as quickly and as smoothly as possible. The producer is often the one of the first crew members on set, and ensures that the rest of crew, cast and client arrive and settle into their activities for the day. Often our producer will also direct the shoot, and for larger projects a dedicated director may be brought on board.

    POST PRODUCTION

In the post-production phase, a producer supervises the editing process and timeline, and continues to ensure that the vision of project comes together in the edit. Producers are also generally responsible for ‘clearing’ (i.e. getting permission from the copyright owners) any music tracks which will be used in the video.

The producer will send you drafts of the edit to review periodically and will ultimately supply you with the finished video, or despatch your  TV Commercial to broadcast. Being a video producer is a big job, and requires a huge amount of organizational skills.
